Tracking Your Blog Expenses has never been easier with a Card.com Debit Card. Make managing your blog expenses as painless as possible. There are many different ways to manage your blog’s finances. And for many bloggers there is no need to go to the bank to open a separate account. While it is important to treat your blog as a business it can sometimes become very confusing on how to determine and pay for expenses from your personal.
I have a great solution that doesn’t include all the fees that a business account with your bank may include. I use a preloaded debit card from Card.com. Easy as that. I have a separate card that I can transfer money to by using PayPal (which how I seem to be paid from most campaigns anyway) or by loading it at Wal-Mart.
Why would you want to do this you may be asking? At the end of the year when it comes time to file your taxes it will be so much easier to pull out statements from one card and know that they are all business expenses rather than going through your personal account and determine which transactions were for your blogging business.
I recently ordered this amazing card that I can easily spot in my wallet and know that it not by boring bank card. It is a beautiful Monica Warhol card.
There are so many advantages to going with Card.com. First, it is a debit card that is accepted everywhere that Visa is accepted (how many places have you been to that accept cards and don’t take Visa, yeah probably none.) Secondly, it is free, free to order, free to activate, free to load, free direct deposit , no overdraft fees, this list could on for a while but I think you get the point, free. There is no credit check and you will be approved within seconds (Go to the bank and open another account- that could take half of your day, this is done before you grab your car keys).
For me it makes it so much easier knowing that all of my income and expenses are separated into its own account. It makes it much easier to assess how my business is doing overall if I can check the balance and know that all of it is related to my blog. Before this I would have to write every little thing down, separate receipts that may include purchases for my home and office together. I am now able to check out in 2 transactions if needed.
In this modern age, almost no one uses cash and to have an easier and cheaper way to manage your small business takes one more thing off of your plate to worry about on a daily basis. And we all know that as entrepreneurs there are not enough hours in the day and every second we can save adds up over the week.
But Preloaded Debit cards aren’t just for your micro-business. They are great for your children. I mean how much easier is it to set up allowance that will automatically be loaded every week rather than going to the ATM for cash.
What are you waiting for? Head on over to Card.com and find a card that reflects your personality.
(Full Disclosure: I was sent a preloaded card from Card.com to review. All opinions are 100% my own.)
