Trying to grow your Facebook Fans List? I have a great resource to help you do that for less than the price of a latte.
Last year I stumbled across a website that allows you to link up your Facebook Fans page to gain more followers. The buy in was only five bucks so I decided to give it a try. I signed up and was so excited but quickly realized that to be at the top of their page it was going to be a lot of work. Quite frankly time that I did have. So initially I gained about a hundred new Facebook fans. But it died off as my energy was focused on things that I thought were more important.
Until I had that light bulb moment, I realized that just “liking” their page was useless. I needed to connect with these other business owners. So I wrote up a basic message that I would send to everyone who’s page I followed. I let them know who I was, what my business fan page was, where they could find me on Etsy and wished them the best in their business. What happened? Those other business owners started to connect with me both Facebook and on Etsy. But the big question is did it actually pay off? Yes. I have received sales directly from my new Facebook fans because I reached out to connect with them and they needed my product at the time.
But it doesn’t stop there. I still am buried in the middle of the page. I need new users to be able to find me as well. So I schedule about 30 minutes a day to “work the list” in that time I am usually able to move up 30-50 spots in the rankings. I wouldn’t be in this predicament if I would have seen the value early on since I was one of the first to sign up at the site. But live and learn.
WeLikeEtsy is a great resource to help you gain new Facebook Fans if you have the time to put into it. Another fantastic benefits that it gives you a backlink to your Etsy Shop which is a great boost for your SEO.
